When an incident happens whilst travelling
What should you do when an incident happens whilst travelling? Rely on Cover-More to help you deal with the unexpected.
In order for claims to be paid in a timely manner, you must follow the guidelines in your policy documents. Policy Conditions spells out the necessary documents for claims. In particular:
- Report lost or stolen property to police or responsible transport provider and obtain a written report.
- Phone the emergency assistance number as soon as physically possible if you are admitted to hospital or if you anticipate that any of your medical expenses are likely to exceed $4,000.
Following these will make the claims process much easier.
